J. Robert Smith has a weekly article that appears at American Thinker. His archived articles can be found here.
President Trump faces perhaps the most momentous decision a president has had to make. Will he invoke the 2018 executive order pertaining to elections fraud and foreign interference therein? The truth is, the president may have no other choice. The federal courts – the U.S. Supreme Court, to date, in particular – have turned their backs on redressing November’s historic elections fraud. GOP controlled legislatures in contested battleground states aren’t likely to decertify Biden electors (fraud slates) and install electors who reflect the will of a majority of voters. And, really, what do we expect from Congress on January 6?
America will enter 2021 at great peril. We face an existential crisis unlike any since the Civil War. The evidence, which grows daily, the witnesses, who are many, and the statistical analyses of balloting in key battleground states – Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada – all plainly expose broad criminality. Elections in those states were fixed.
The conspirators’ aim, after four long years of trying, was to depose a duly reelected president, Donald J. Trump. The conspirators are on the verge of succeeding. Joe Biden – frail, mentally deteriorating, and corrupt – stands at the threshold of being sworn in. If he is, he’ll be the first pretender or illegitimate president in the nation’s life.
The fulcrum of the executive order is foreign interference. It appears, though not confirmed, that the elections theft perpetrated involved not only Democrats and leftist groups, but Big Tech barons, monied interests, and, in supporting roles, the mainstream media. The question is, was there foreign interference in the elections? At this point, it’s supposition, but there’s serious chatter about Xi Jinping having a hand in bringing down China’s principal nemesis. In fact, the U.S. State Department announced sanctions against China recently.
From the State Department release dated December 18, 2020:
The Chinese Communist Party’s malign activity at home and abroad harms U.S. interests and undermines the sovereignty of our allies and partners. The United States will use all countermeasures available, including actions to prevent People’s Republic of China (PRC) companies and institutions from exploiting U.S. goods and technologies for malign purposes. Today’s actions mark yet another sign of our resolve.
The United States is imposing new restrictions on certain entities for activities that undermine our national security and foreign policy interests. Specifically, the Department of Commerce is adding 59 PRC entities to its export-control Entity List. [italics added]
The timing of the sanctions is interesting, but not conclusive. If the PRC had a hand in stealing the elections from the president (and 74 million voters by extension), in cahoots with the aforementioned domestic factions, then the president has a duty – a moral imperative, no less – to lay out the facts and invoke the executive order’s provisions. Under the circumstances, the president would not only be confronting an attack on the homeland by a foreign power (the PRC, perhaps among other notorious players), but treason on a scale never seen before on these shores. It’s a sobering prospect. But the alternative is to acquiesce to the nation’s subversion by infamous players, foreign and domestic. That simply can’t be allowed to happen.
It’s sobering because it means war – and not only with the communist Chinese, but with domestic factions aligned with the Chinese to undermine our elections, which, in fact, is a subversion of our government and Constitution. Modern war has been reimagined. It can be hot and cold, and most certainly will be asymmetric. But the fate of the Republic hangs in the balance.
I’ve mentioned this before, but it bears repeating: This all seems fantastic… some beach-read fiction about vast conspiracies, betrayals, skullduggery, power-lust, and greed. But this we know with certitude, because the proof is staring us in the face: the U.S. elections theft was unprecedented, focusing on battleground states to swing the results. Doubtless, the president and his team know the whole story – or much of it. My sense is, that come early January, the president will reveal the story to us. If I’m correct, it will stun Americans. Be vigilant.
